Re: Samsung B650 Owner's Thread

I've been playing around with my slight hiccups with Twonky & the LE32B650, basically I have Twonky and the Samsung so I'll try getting them working together, if I can.

Some of my mp3's, tagged with ID3v2, don't play via this configuration, giving an error on the Samsung that they can't be played.

If I edit the file, to place the ID3v2 header to the end of the .mp3 (the ID3v2 spec. seems not to specify that it should be at the front -although it would make sense-), then I get to see the graphic incorporated in the .mp3 and it plays OK on the Samsung.

Not sure who to moan at here, (Twonky or Samsung), but it seems odd that the unit plays 'unaltered' ID3v2 files fine if they are not broadcast by an 'alien' streamer?

I also got some 'unplayable' divx files to play by altering the Twonky 'client.db' file. Can't find much info. on this file though...anyone?

I'm no expert but either you're being hyper sensitive about the picture quality or there is something wrong with your TV.
Sorry I can't be anymore help.

Have to agree with the above comments - picture quality is very good on SD channels and it upscales avi files very well with no judder. I've got a 37'' for my games room and I'm so impressed with the picture that I'm thinking of getting the 46'' version of this tv for my lounge rather then the new Philips models. Remote is very comfortable in your hand...
