common LCD faults - and how to find them

Hi,
I've had quite a few LCD TVs over the years and I'm constantly being annoyed with faults.
The trouble is that I come across most of them by chance, often while watching a film.

What I'm after is a list of common faults and how to find them so that when I unpack the TV I know whether to take it right back and get a replacement!

I thought I'd start off with Clouding (Mura) with this link I found recently: Clouding - how to spot it

Dead or stuck pixels being the most common fault imo. Easier to spot on a black screen.
