Unfortunatly my remote has broken due to water damage!

Anyone got any idea how much a new one is going to cost me and where from!?

I assume the TV is still under warranty.

Either contact Toshiba, tell them the truth and ask how much a new remote is...

Or, contact them and tell them a button has stopped working or something. I suspect they'll just send you out a new remote without any real checks since they're probably very cheap.

a replacement for my old toshiba was £75 (fortunately i never had to replace it)
get a multi remote that can handle all the functions you need (aspect, AV, menu etc)

nope that was the price, it was a Toshiba CRT. if you look at that website it even shows you the price. hard to believe it will still cost me £75 to replace a 8yr old remote!
