Sony KDL 32EX720 'Timer On' Problem

Hi
Having a toddler that wakes at the crack of dawn can seriously damage your health, so I need your help.

I have Humax FreeSat box connected via HDMI 1 that will power on automatically with Cbeebies which is great. However, the 'On Timer' in 'Clock' set up turns on the TV but will only let me choose an analogue channel for the connection.

How can I get the Sony to 'Power On' to the HDMI 1 connection.

Please help; I need more sleep.

Regards
mark

Hi
Nobody else seems to be able to solve my problem so I've come up with a workaround solution, it's a bit 'Heath-Robinson' but it works and might be helpful to someone else.

Simple; just put a timer plug on the end of the power cable and set it to the required start time. You can over-ride the switch and turn it to 'on' manually at any time, when in the timer mode.

The new technology is great but in this case they cocked up. Scart connections were always automatically recognised, by the TV, when switched on.

Anyway, hope this helps someone else get some sleep.

Well you *did* post this in the wrong forum. This forum is for setting your TV picture up.
I'll move your thread to the LED LCD TVs forum.
