Does anyone know (hristoslav2) what panels are inside the samsung 32EH5000 and in what percentage is possible the trashy (cmi)? Is it worth the risk?
The first one i have with cmi panel (32P6AFOD) was unwatchable (dark scenes and black and white films) because of unacceptable viewing angle and gamma color shift.
Hopefully i return it because of a dead pixel.
Thanks.

I had a Samsung UE40ES5700 with a terrible panel, it couldn't show black or brown. Black was dark navy blue and brown was grey!!

It was a CMI and I sent it back for full refund after 2 days. I didnt bother with any more samsungs because of the stupid time consuming panel lottery.

I've settled for an LG 42LW579S, it has very good colours and viewing angle but has the typical LG slight clouding and banding. I had to have the LG panel replaced because it was faulty out of the box. I'm pleased with the replacement and good LG home repair service.

My new LG panel is the one above and I would appreciate some info on it.

The most ironic thing i heard was from samsung service in greece that all samsung 32eh5000 have the same panel.
Maybe all tvs who sell to fools customers like me because on shelves stores i saw much better panel and viewing angle.

Information from official service manuals
Regarding your inquiry, that model is discontinued from:
I think it's normal. Often a model is produced videopanel for one year and then be suspended from production and replaced by another one.

Alternatively, the panel is OЕМ - that is manufactured on demand / request.

Hi, mantis 13...
What exactly have You planned to achieve with that type of question?
"Which of two.." What two? There is only one picture, dude... M?

Mmmm, info for all.. TOSHIBA 55ZL2G.. First 3D TV without glasses.. AUO quadHD panel... 've had no chance to take a picture, but the rear sticker info and up-close eyepiece observation confirmed that fact...

Hello everybody,
a question about Philips 7xx6 (2011 series):
do they have a 100Hz or a 200Hz panel?

(HERE I found 100Hz and THERE I found 200Hz)

(is there any option code ruling it?)

thanks

800 Hz PMR = 200 Hz(true)
400 Hz PMR =100 Hz(true)
200 Hz PMR = 50 Hz(true)
100 Hz PMR = 50 Hz(true)

PFL6606 = 400 Hz (100 Hz Clear LCD + DNM + Pixel Plus HD)
PFL7606 = 400 Hz (100 Hz Clear LCD + HDNM + Pixel Plus HD)

So then 7606 (400Hz PMR) and 7676 (600Hz PMR) have both 100Hz (true). This link invites to think if they initially were designed to have 200Hz (see "IFC" column) ....

Hi Hristoslav2,

do you have any information about the Samsung 40 ES6800?
I see that this tv has almost all the features of higher models (7000-8000) but with a dramatically lower price.
Something more should be there...

I am going to send back a Sony HX850 because the whites are so punching despite of any adjustment you can try.
I was wondering if this Sony is sharing the same panel with these Samsung models.

Thanks as always for your kind answer.
