Cleaning the Samsung D7000 screen

In the process of wall mounting the TV I have managed to get quite a lot of fingerprint marks all around the edges of the screen and they are very noticeable when the TV is off or even during dark scenes. I was wondering what do you guys use to screen your LED screens. What cloth, and solutions, if any, do you use?

Hmm - I have never found anything that it totally satisfactory.

My Ipad (glass) screen cleans up very well with some diluted glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth. The problem with non-glass LCD screens is that this sort of cleaning regime seems to affect the screen / coating.

If you just use a cloth then it is safest but you may struggle to remove all the marks.

Sorry not much help. Maybe someone else has a better way - I would be interested.

For cleaning any finger prints off my D8000 screen, I use a very lightly dampened soft cloth, then finish it off with one of the blue cloths supplied with the set & glasses. So far, this method has not failed to clean the screen.
