Hmmm. Doesn't look right. Then again, it's not like Curry's have never made a blunder with pre-order pricing before What's the betting that's the launch price of the 55"...

Edit: Then again, given the price for the us versions have been listed a few times at $2699 for the 46" and over $3k for the 55" (and we all know how companies like to just change the $ to a £) maybe this crazy price is the launch price.

I would be just about ok with that...

Xbox 360

Virgin Media HD

Sony BDV E370 theatre kit.

Everyone else who has PS3 as well etc your in trouble. Well of course you can buy multi HDMI switches but they add a bit more clutter.

But some may not want/need to have an AV receiver, and still require hdmi inputs on the tv.

With today's new pricing confirmations (ES8000 46" = $2,999 , 55" $3749 + ES7500 46" = $2,599 55" = $3379) it'll be interesting to see if we see more uk price estimates. I'd love to know what the release US price was on the d8000 last year to compare... to the google-mobile!

That's madness! I've just bought a Samsung UE55D7000 with 4 pairs of glasses for £1499. And I'm pretty sure the main difference with these new TVs is a dodgy kinect copy, dodgy voice control and a webcam?

No thanks!

Yeah. It'll be interesting to see what the extra processing power does to improve things though. Might make some difference. I guess we wait and see. You got a cracking deal though ipabzi

Yeah. I was hoping to pick up the 7000 for that. For an 8000 that's a very very low price.

So the 2.5 was the cost of the 55" as we thought. Wonder where the 46" 7000 will sit, probably £1699. C'mon John Lewis... get the stock up on the site :D

Well seeing as the 46 has seemingly dropped to a more realistic £1900 (still allot i know).

The 40 has appeared on Comets website.

Buy SAMSUNG UE40ES8000 | 40" LED BACKLIT 3D TV - LED TVs | Comet

A new year full of new tvs is always sadly exciting.

Hopefully in a couple of months comet and the likes will have all the new sets from various manufactures on display so i can have a good play.

Just over £2k for a 55" here but no stock yet, looks dodgy but googling the reviews it seems a reliable retailer
