I've been looking for a replacement set for my 60 inch 6 series Samsung. I bought the TV when the tuner on my LG 55LW650T packed up at Christmas just a few days after I bought it. I loved the set but it was in short supply so I went for the Samsung. A real mistake it doesnt show 3D in HD and the crosstalk is just awfull. I'm waiting for a refund at the moment and having had the larger screen I'm reluctant to drop down in screen size. I'm confused though, Your price list shows a 65LM620T but the excel sheet shows a 60 inch version. which version will you be supplying? Will the 60 inch+ screen sizes be available in April? I'll make do by bringing the bedroom TV downstairs if I dont have to wait for months

Hi any news on the 42LM640T you said you'd check on the price two days ago but I've heard anything since.

Why are the 640 and 660 not available in the USA? I only see the 670/760/860/960 on J&R and Adorama

What's up with the colour column, filled in for 660 and 670 but none of the other cinema screen ones.
Grrrrrr.... sorry! the 670 is 110% Cinema Screen, i know this cos I took one out of a box this afternoon! i'll get the spreadsheet changed AGAIN!!

From what I can tell:

The 6700 has a non-brushed metal silver rounded bottom border.
Photo: 6700 full screen
Photo: 6700 bottom bezel

The 7600 has a non-brushed? metal black flat bottom border:

Photo: 7600 bottom bezel

The 8600 has a brushed? metal silver flat bottom border with a clear glass border beneath that.

Please let me know if my observations are correct. Thanks for helping out!

I really wish that LG would do a cinema screen design WITHOUT that smart crap.... i'd really love to get one but don't want to pay the extra. the LM640 is looking awesome, i put money on that one being the best seller this year for LG

You can see this here, here, and here. Are these horizontal spacers/brackets removable to give the tv a flat profile as it's official 1.3" depth suggests? Or are they housing components, and if so how could you give the tv spec a 1.3" depth dimension?
the lw540 had the same sticking out bit on the back and i'm pretty sure it is the speakers so wouldnt be able to be removed... i was looking at trying the 540u after my 550 was written off but the bottom bit put me off as like you i have my led screen mounted with one of the wire mounts and it just didnt seem like that would allow the screen to sit flush to the wall and would of needed spacers which defeats the object of that type of mount!

Is there a particular time today that the specs go live on your website?

Sorry, the US operates totally differently to us (EU) the manuals should be online very soon (they come from the service dept. not marketing)
