LCD TV screen info please

Hi all I have got me an LG 32" LCD screen some of you may all ready know that as I got it cheap and fixed it.

Well today I turned it on and the screen in the middle at the top was darker than the rest of the screen.

After about 5 minutes of being on it seems ok now.

Is it normal for some LCD tv`s to have to warm up before the picture is normal?.

Saying that the whole screen is a little darker till it warms up is this just LCD`s for you?.

P.S

The screen seems great after it warms up and the picture for an old LCD TV is good.

Thanks in advance
