Re: Toshiba XV Settings

Nice thread, I'm collecting a bunch of settings, so enjoy

ONE question though. Is it really IMPOSSIBLE to have multiple colour settings? If I change one of my profiles, the 3d color management for the other profiles is also changed Am I missing something or is this just not possible (and that would really suck cause how can you compare all the different colour profiles?)

Re: Toshiba XV Settings

Hi everyone

Founnd something interesting on the tv - might be the service menu!!!

1. TV turned on
2. Press 'Mute' button on the remote.
3. Press 'Mute' button on the remote again and hold.
4. Press the 'Menu' button at the TV.
You are now in something mode
5. Write down the old value of the item before changing - IF YOU CAN??
7. When you have made all the adjustments you want turn the set off to exit.

If anyone can figure anything else out - put it on the forum!!

update - use the volume to change the numbers - don't know what they do though, so be careful!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Toshiba XV Settings

Could you please help me with the following problem:
I have Toshiba Regza 37XV500p (model for Russia), and I going to the service menu (mute mute+tv_menu - hell it), something change and TV is Die =( I know who I'am! TV turn on with the remote control, turn on backlighting, but all I can see it is black screen... no sound, no picture, no anything response in remote's butons clicks, but only turn on and turn off by the power button. In the service menu don't enter now. But what I can to do to reanimate it? Maybe it is possible to update firmware or update chip with service menu? Sorry for my English, do not have enough relations experience.

Re: Toshiba XV Settings

Going from i think you have said you have been into the service menu and now you cannot get a picture?

If that i sthe case it sounds like you have messed something up in there and now bricked it, you may have to contact your local Toshiba aservice centre and pay them to put it right.
