Help Please Replacing Wireless Card In Dell XPS M1730

Hi All,

I have just purchased a Dell XPS m1730 but have dicovered it only has a wireless G card installed
Can anybody offer any assistance how i can replace this with a N card and how easy will it be to fit.

If its new & under warranty I wouldnt tinker internally voids warranty & if anything does fail you could edge into trouble trying to get them to do the repair...try one of these New usb wireless internet adapter dongle wifi 150Mbps | eBay ....
should do the job ........just be sure to disable the internal one within windows to avoid any conflicts..

Thanks for the input Eggman72, it is not under warranty so i thought if it was easy enough i would try and replace the unit, would prefer to keep it all internal if possible.

most are located on the underneath but some under the keyboard which can be more tricky.just do a quick google search & you should be pointed in the right direction.....edit..found this it should help you...

The link will show you which cards are available to fit the machine and yes there are N ones. Best place to get one is off of EBay.
