Which laptop of these 2 are best for gaming?

I want to get a new Laptop and found these 2.
Which one of these would be better for gaming?

1. ACER Aspire V3-571G

2. LENOVO Z570

The 2 main differences are:

1 has: Intel Core 5 2.5GHz + Nvidia GeForce GT 630M
2 has: Intel Core 7 2.2GHz + Nvidia GeForce GT 540M

Or if you could suggest an even better laptop in a price range of around £650 that would be great

Thanks Guys

If you head here

PassMark - CPU Benchmarks - List of Benchmarked CPUs

and here

NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M - Notebookcheck.net Tech

then you can find out for yourself which spec is the best. If you are willing to wait patiently then check out dells outlet store.

i saw an m14x sandy bridge i7 (it may have even be one of the new ivy bridges but dont quote me on that as i am probably wrong) pop up last thursday for £610 quid and if memory serves me rightly it is a well specced machine for the money... better than those above at least.

i was sorely tempted to buy it myself but my sensible head got the better of me. it was sold in a few hours so you usually have to be quick, decisive and patient but some cracking deals pop up every now and again.

the machines are refurb models but every laptop i have ever bought from there is indistinguishable from a new one. they also come with a years warranty (usually next day on site) which is worth its weight on gold.

Both graphics cards give the same performance with the 630 just edging out the 540. No question about which is the better CPU.
core i7
On the list machines with 540M, 630M or Radeon 6650M would all be suitable possibles.

I'd be cautious about using the passmark charts for gaming ratings as I know their GPU charts don't correspond too well with actual gaming benchmarks

The GT 630M comes in two flavours, a renamed GT 540M and a newer, lower power but equivalent performance model so they're effectively equal in performance with the GT 630M potentially allowing you to game a little longer on battery (if it's a new one).

Whether an i5 or i7 is better depends on the exact model as they come in lots of flavours and have been around for three years now.

Lenovo Z580 £650 Ivy bridge i7, GT630 Lenovo Z580 M81D2UK

If you go to pcspecialist you can get even better spec Ivy i7 and GT650M which is a fair bit more powerful for under£650 if you cut out the OS.

If you were just after gaming performance you are better off spending £400 on this http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/Acer_...G_1201802.html rather than £600 on something with an identical graphics card
