I would value your opinions on this Spec please...

http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/FO_-_...00/version.asp

I'm looking for a laptop with good spec for video editing , photoshop and Tonemapping , with occasional gaming when working away.

Must have wireless , card reader , firewire and HDMI would be usefull.

15inch is ideal , 17 would be ok.

A bigger HDD would be nice but can't be picky at this price.

Not bothered about cosmetic marks , as long as 12months wty.

Sorry to start YET another thread like this , but I need something this weekend.

Thanks for reading/helping.

that would be a good buy if it still comes with the warrenty

if it does snap their hand off

as long as the scratches aren't on the lcd who cares as long as it works

some people can be very anal about cosmetic's and how things looks to other people

if it does what it says on the box who cares go for it

Well went down and got it , also got it upgraded to 3gb ram whilst i was there , got it home and was spot on.

However

After 4 hours use the keyboard and trackpad stopped working after 10 mins of switching it on . Hmmmm

Also I noticed they gave me the T7500 , lol

Going back now to try resolve the issue . Wish me luck

Tried my darnest to blag the T7700 at the same price , wasn't having it , DENIED!

So ended up plumping for a HP Pavillion 9820EA at £5.04 on top

Bargain really, gonna try it out now.

I wasn't happy with the build on the rock , but the processing power made up for it .

The HP is good too bigger screen and a remote control, which will come in handy when i'm working away in the week.
