Haven't tried the train map yet but the other one is quality.

Just thought I'd add if anyone's interested, the file size was 166mb I think (may have been 144mb) but either way only took about 5 minutes to download. There's also another small game update (16mb) as well.

Just played a couple of games on the new levels - the Cruiser level is very good, but im not so sure about the train one.

All a bit cramped and hard to tell where abouts you are in relation to the whole level - plus i kept getting by head knocked off by random things flying past

both levels are really good

the train level offers lots of possible good places to get cover and locate bots!

the cruiser level is huge and the multiple levels offer lots of different routes to attack!

I thought the cruiser level is abit small but it's a great map to play on. Downloaded around 10 mins after coming out and I love the train one yes but it just seems they made it a little too big plus I get lost easy

after playing the new maps all last night , the cruiser level isn't as large as i'd initially thought, but it's still very good ,

the train level is very clever IMO
having your head taken off by on overhead stansion or misjudging a leap between trains is very frustrating but brings something new to multiplayer gaming!
and its really funny when you see somebody else get it very wrong
i think maybe they made the train level that long so it doesn't end up being concerntrated carnage in only 2 or 3 places like Blood Gracht.....

doubt you'll disappointed with the maps, £4.79 for 2 maps...... £2.40 a map..... i paid it as i really like the game at the mo and because you can select which maps to play (unlike COD) you can play them to death then re-introduce the original maps

COD's map pack at £8 (£2 per map) no doesn't seem so expensive now, although as i've mentioned, you can't pick which maps to play and have to wait for them to "pop up"

In my opinion, yes Here's my little mini-review

Vetka Cruiser: Very colourful compared to all the other maps (it's the only map not based on the planet Helghan so that makes sense) and there are numerous parts that you'll recognise from the SP campaign. It's a medium sized map with lots of tight corridors and is set over 2 levels across the whole of the map with a couple of open rooms (lots of flanking and alternative route oppurtunities), however to me it doesn't feel as crowded (even with 32 players) as say, Radec Academy.

Wasteland Bullet: Very, very different to any other map, both graphically and gameplay-wise. It looks stunning, in a gritty, 100mph motion-blurred kinda-way, and will take a bit of time to get used to. Its medium sized in terms of area, but friggin huge (phyrrus rise size) end to end. It's very narrow and long (even with both trains running side-by-side) with enclosed carriages at both ends and in the middle, enemies are quite hard to spot too (especially if you're downwind of smoke and explosions), and it looks to be a very tactical-biased map, with good spawn point placement being essential.

Both maps are very different from any of the existing maps, and there are several nice touches on each one, such as grinding cogs and wheels, and the signals flying past every 15 seconds or so on wasteland bullet which send a rumble through your hands if you're close or a bonecrunching death if you're too close

I'm finding that the train map is fairly difficult to play, I think because it's so narrow it has a lot of choke points, and it actually feels harder to aim when you're outside, due to the movement and the wind. On the cruiser map though I've been kicking ass! came 1st in a 32 player game last night on that map, even beat adnan!

Vetka cruiser is turret heaven BTW I've been favouring the Sabotuer with smg and m4 recently I seem to play as one class for a while rather than swap around all the time.

10 pistol kills (melee with the pistol also counts), x10 gets you the M4 revolver
