I had a quick read through abd from what he says, the snap to aim glitch is something that will be addressed. Hope nobody decided to learn after that aireated little thread earlier

Hopefully they patch it so anyone fluttering their aim button automatically blows up

Dont tell us about it, and just watch the glitchers explode and for the next few days

they had a similar thing on COD which got on my wick so i turned it off. also i hope they fix the speaker problem. So i don't have to keep doing the moon walk over it to pick it up

It was mate. I posted in there thinking good thread i didn't know about the glitch then all of a sudden chaos.

The speaker does my head in. Esp if you've used boost to fly off with it. You travel half the map thinking you've got an easy drop off to find you aint even picked it up.

The who's got it and dropped it updates are really slow sometimes and before you know it. THe other team have dropped it off.

But hats off they're getting these updates out fast which is always good.

I hope they are fixing the connection issues...I'm tired of not knowing whether the game I am in is going to last or not. Last night out of 10 games I joined I got booted 8 times with an error code 4512..gave up in the end and played the other well known fish based shooter

I hope they do fix the auto-lock. I wont lie, i have used it quite a bit. I was sick of people headshoting me with a pistol for 800 miles away. Its not 100% effective btw, close range its impossible to do anyway.

Yeah pretty much the same PB 26.8. Used to go alot. Pretty much fished all over essex. Boo kids & PS3.

So how long before the patch?

I just tried the bots on Elite and they are really hard. I cant seem to take on more than one and i play well online.

They are testing it at the moment so it shouldn't be to long.

Yeah the elite bots have kicked my but in many a skirmish.

I don't expect the kills for bots to award match points but will they count towards the Ribbons?

Good question. As hopefully since no one is willing to let my air support shot them for 5 minutes solid so i can get a kill. Hopefully the bots are stupid enough to stand there all day.

Hi All,

I am back, if briefly, Killzone.com is up and seems stable right now, so that is good news. Also I advise you check out the Billinghurst article on the site toda, here. I like it a lot. Also check out the second part of the Killzone Chronicals, where take a look back at the early development time. part 1 is here. There is more content in those links than you can shake a dirty stick at.

Anyway, down to business. Pending any unforseen problems, early next week patch 1.21 will be released. I’ll confirm the timings on Monday. The patch includes the following:

-Increase of the standard points settings for Bodycount. Should ensure longer mode on heavily populated games.
-The return of Online Bots. Adding bots to an online game renders it ‘unranked’.
-The option to create unranked games. Players will be made aware that a game is unranked upon joining.
-Fix to Game Search functionality so correct maps are displayed.
-Standardization of the Y-Axis controls on the HGH Scout when zoomed with the Sniper Rifle.
-Fix to Sensitivity setting where the weapon animation did not follow the reticule correctly.
-Fix for auto-aim exploit when rapidly tapping zoom/fire.
-Fix to infrequent collision issues with C4 Proximity mines.
-Fix to list of games displayed on search.
-Stability fix relating to disconnect.
-Fix to ‘Clan’ button functionality in custom game creation settings.

We are also working on the next updates and here are some of the areas we are exploring and investigating for the future patches:

-Controls. Seeing about giving more options.
-Expanding on Join Game searches and options.
-Improving game and network stability.
-Collision exploits on maps.
-Improvements to help play with friends.
-More game creation options.
-More game options for clans.
-Fixes to Clans unexpectadly losing tournament rounds.
-Other minor fixes.

Now the above does not include the DLC updates that we are working on and they wont all come straight away, but I wanted to give you an idea of the areas we are exploring. If anything else pops up we will of course add that too More on future updates soon.

Downloaded at 6pm no hassles for me. Few tweaks, seems to take longer before you can skip the opening video now though - maybe just me. I think everyone is getting the Wargod Ribbon for some reason - must be a bug.

Cross-Training Ribbon(Bronze) Acquire all badge specific medals
Veteran Ribbon(Bronze) Acquire all mission specific medals
Expert Ribbon(Bronze) Acquire all combat specific medals
Wargod Ribbon(Bronze) Acquire all remaining medals

The only remaining medals are the Example Soldier and Natural Born Killer, which most everyone already had.

Wargod trophy therefore only requires two medals.

I've noticed recently that I seem to be joining less matches near the end, in fact a can't remember the last time it happened! I always join at 0-0 now... anyone else had the same? maybe they've tweaked something behind the scenes..?

ever since the update, my PS3 crashes when trying to access Messages via the PS button, whilst in game.
Did not happen before and does not happen in otehr games.

Try deleting some messages?

Any rough idea on when the next patch is due? I read somwhere it is going to be even bigger then the last one and may include further control tweeks and a lobby system.
