Killzone 2 - Rumble Support...?

I have recently purchased a DualShock 3 Rumble pad for my PS3 and for some strange reason I am not getting any rumble feedback from the pad in Killzone 2. I have tried the pad with the Resident Evil 5 Demo and the Rumble works fine.
I have Rumble selected in the settings, I can't see any options in game to select rumble, so assume that it is always on.

Any help...?

It deffo has rumble, in fact it's one of the better games for it...

im afriad im with the op on this one, all other games are fine, and since getting the game i can only say that i have felt it once and it was very very weak.

IIRC it was when i was nearly dead, blood on screen and it was pulsing like the heart beat.

Since that nothing.

With all those KZ2 updates maybe they messed something up...?

Perhaps. I just downloaded the latest update today and that's working OK

There was a bug in the demo, but I think its been fixed in the final release, so this might not help!

Are you by any chance changing your controller number AFTER launching the game?

If you have a 'wireless dongle' connected (For games such as Buzz, Guitar Hero, etc), when you start, Dual Shock will not be controller 1... In order to start many games (including KillZone) you have to set it to Controller 1.. But if you do this when KZ is running you don't get rumble.

To get around this, you need to either change your controller number BEFORE you start Killzone.. Or, if you have already launched KZ turn of the controller and turn it on again.

Could this be it? This certainly was a problem in the demo, but I can't be sure whether its there in the retail version!

That might be it as I have a Guitar Hero dongle plugged in, will try tomorrow.

that may wel be it i also have the GH dongle in and the controller defaults to 3, i change it once at the start movie.

It does work in game, but I noticed last night there's no 'rumbling' in the cut scenes, which is strange as most of them are full of destruction and blood-shed and you'd think would suit it perfectly.

It certainly sounds like the same problem. Just press/hold the PS button, select "Turn off Controller" and then turn it on again and you should have rumble!

Just tried it without the Guitar Hero dongle in and I now have full rumble.
