Shooting People : Its cheap!

This game is pretty unfair, because all the modes essentially force you to shoot people.

Sure, there are guns in the game, but there are also opportunities for talking and diplomacy. I hate the way you are forced as a player to shoot the other side, using weapons is unskillful and cheap.

I played a great game the other day, where we didn't leave the base camp for assasination, we then went out for a picnic during Body Count mode and for Retrieve the Propaganda malarky we all sat around it and listened to the political debate while holding hands.

This is real skill, not this cheap way of using the different weapons in game to kill people or stop them from respawning.

Anyway, besides the controls are so awful you can only shoot people if you are a lucker. Truly skillful players use their mic and soothing words to play the game.

Totally agree with you mate, no need for violence. You should be able to sort out your problems with speech. I mean, come on there was no indication it was going to be a shooting game from the front cover or it's name.

Exactly, Killzone is a pretty neutral title.

I was playing on the desert level, just standing right out in the open and some guy *** shot with a sniper rifle, while I bent over to pick up a rare daisy growing there.

I mean ***! I think the sniper rifles are pretty overpowered really and a really lame way to score points, all people care about is ranking it seems.

I'll be honest, it does get to me when my enemy kills me, what with the proximity chat they've introduced in the game I thought we could have a cussing match instead.

Seriously though, I hate when I get killed by a pistol even though I've got one.

I also hate grenades, I mean how dare you use one on me, when I wasn't even ready to move out the way.

Don't even get me started with the shotgun, how the hell is it right that I die because you shot me before I could shoot you.

And finally the rocket launchers, you think it takes skill to kill me when I'm standing still, I know that I'm a muppet for standing there like a lemon taking the sights and all that but maybe if I was better than you you wouldn't kill me.

I think we need to hit the helgast with a leaflet campain and some t-shirts.

But that would be less important than giving ourselves a name I like

We could get some nice colourful paint and some grass seeds and sort out a nice garden for them and paint some walls nice bright colours. No wonder those Helgans are ****** off. There's nowhere for them to chill out and grey is so last year.

Totally agree with all of you, this game is far too violent, thats why I'm really pleased that GG are shortly releasing this as a patch.

This alll sounds lovely. Perhaps the Helgans would like to spend the weekend there. Oh no, wait a minute I think there must already be somewhere for them to put up tents and stuff, as I have read a lot about Spawn Camping.

Some decking and a water feature would go well. Perhaps they could get that Ground Force TV programme to go in and tidy tidy the outside up, perhaps a small herb garden or allotment would be therapeutic.

Certainly one way to remove the fight from them - drop copy's of Alan Titmarsh's Auto Biography on them, with a few Pebble Mill at 1 retrospective DVD's.

The use of that material probably contravenes several UN Treaty's.
