I'm really liking the shotty but I think the standard ISA rifle is better all round weapon. And sorry for the team killing you earlier.

It's alright. Yea, you can kill people very far away with the M82.

had the pleasure of picking up a dropped light machine gun - carnage central with that thing just spray away in any direction and you seem to get a frag

otherwise the sub machine gun is quite portable for mid/short range

shot gun is v powerfull though you need to be accurate otherwise reload takes too long

ATM I am using the M82 for far range, SMG for mid, and shotty for close. I am pretty good with the shotty my accurcy is 110% or something for it.

My weapon of choice is either the shotty or grenade launcher. Use the launcher today and killed 5 on the other team. Funny as hell for me not them.

ISA assault rifle if playing as a medic

ISA LMG (basically a COD4 SAW) if playing without one of the skills (medic, engineer etc)

It depends on the map, the standard assualt rifle is a good allrounder, but in the close quarter maps you want the shottie.

I think you start with 12, so not a lot. Its quite hard to use, as the grenades don't explode until a second or two after you're fired them, I've shot so many right past enemies only for them to explode behind them

I completely agree with that, the weapons are very well balanced, you need to choose the right tool for the job.

However, stand outs for me are the shotgun (the pleasure in shooting someone in the face from 5 foot away never dies

) and the sniper rifle, especially on phyrrus rise (desert map) "ooh, hello there on the other side of the map... bang

both are quite hard to use, but very rewarding when you get it tight

The only explosives similar to mines are the proximity triggered c4 packs which are the secondary ability of the saboteur, and there's no knife in the MP, the melee uses the butt of your gun, it's still pretty effective though.

I don't think knives are available in multi player, they're just in sp. I'm not sure what you mean by trip mines but there are C4s which explode when the enemy is close.

Actually do the C4s explode even when someone on your team is close to them or is it just the enemy?

Do you know how they detonate, do they have a self timer and go off or do you have to detonate them by a charge or something.

I love my sniper rifle, nearly unlocked the 5x zoom too
