No internet...

Hey guys, having to type this on my phone as I'm not getting any Internet, in with O2 using a Netgear DGN2200 on a 2011 Mac Mini, it had been ok but now it's dropped completely, I've put in the settings in the router menu (LLC Based/VPI 0/VCI 101/DSL Mode Auto) but still nothing. The Internet light on the router is a solid red. I'll be out to work most of today but any suggestions for troubleshooting are much appreciated. Thanks.

Take router and plug it into your master socket.
Check settings and username and password are correct.
If red light persists contact your ISP.

A double check would be to borrow a friend's modem router and see if it does the same.

Ok I'm home now! I don't have a cable to connect it straight to router ...I went to plug in my o2 router, them realised I can't find the power cable for it! So then I put the Ethernet cable etc back into the Netgear, and now the light to the left for power is red and when in network settings only Mac it says it can't find the IP?!

I had the wrong power cable in the Netgear so ignore part of last post, back to just no Internet problem and red web led.

I've tried changing filter (not got a spare RJ-11 cable right now though), I did get some net yesterday then lost it again, I just got off the phone to o2, he was limited in what he could do due to me not using an o2 Box though as i expected, he reconfigured the ports at their end, he tried to order me a power cable for my old box which was nice but to no avail, of course right as I got off the phone to him the internet came back...:/

Think I might try and give Netgear a call

Edit - It would also be great to hear from anyone who is running the same router with o2.
