ISF Calibration of KRP500a

As the A model does not remember different settings per input unlike the M model. After ISF calibration would there be night and day settings for each input?

The ISF Day and Night modes would give you two separate memories for each input. They could be for day/night viewing or PAL/NTSC differences, etc.

The other option would be to perform the calibration exclusively within the user menu. This approach would mean that unlike the M, different picture modes need to be used, as opposed to the Pure preset for all sources.

Re: ISF Calibration of KRP500a

You also get another memory per Input - isf Auto. 3 Total Per Input

Most Calibrators (both Pro and DIYers) are activating and calibrating the ISFccc Interface (isf Night, isf Day, isf Auto) on the Monitors too (Signature Monitors and KRP-M's) since the owner can choose which memory they want to use (i.e. isf Night for critically viewing in a light controlled environment and isf Day for more light output for day viewing/many lights on etc). Other uses, different Pure Cinema settings for each ISF Memory.

With the KRP-M's, the memories (there are 8 total) are per Input Signal and there is 1 Pure setting per Input Signal, you can't manually select another unless you calibrated another standard AV Selection. So if you wanted 2 different Contrast setting (and other settings including Pure Cinema) for 1080p/24, you couldn't do that with Pure - You can with the ISFccc Interface.
