Question Anyone Had Their V10 Calibrated??

Hi

As the title says, has anyone had their Panny V10 calibrated? If anyone has, I'd be interested to know the results as I'd be looking at getting mine calibrated sometime in the new year.

Thanks

Baz

I got my 65 v10 calibrated by best buy. Not too happy with it. My game mode is basically the same as what best buy set. I'm going to try and get my money back. I'm not sure if v10 even needs to be calibrated. It's that good.

Was reading Phil's review of the v10 (50 & 65) the other day, the Panasonic now has the THX preset which gives (according to the review) near perfect D65 and rec.709 colour out of the box. Doing a full ISF calibration, Phil was only able to slightly better the THX preset.

Is it worth the money to isf calibrate the screen (when new), IMHO as the v10 looks to be so close to spec out of the box I don't think so. Unless you want to seek out that last 5%, which is beyond the human eye to differentiate anyway.

I'd look to getting it calibrated a year or two down the line, all displays dim with use and this will be a better time to get it calibrated.
