Thumbs up Great Experience of ISF Calibrator - Wiltshire

Hi Guy's,

I have just had a great experience using electricinteriors.co.uk and thought I would share it with you...

I was recommended by Rob Sinden (Newbury Demo Rooms Owner) to a company who are ISF certified....

The guys name is Craig Wheeler - I actually met him a couple of years back - he sold and designed my MK speaker arrangement for my dedicated home cinema room (pictures in my sig - although they need updating)

He popped over today to calibrate my HD73 projector

What an amazing difference! I was thinking about replacing my projector until I heard what a difference having your projector calibrated can make, so, thought I would give it a try.

I've now decided to hold on to the HD73, it is amazing how the various different tweaks can improve the picture quality so much. I had previously tried the HD Basics bluray disc to carryout calibration myself and was very disappointed with the results. I was also laying off playing my SD DVDs due to me picking up on bad picture quality all the time but this has now been dramatically improved.

Craig also gave me other tips on how to achieve the best picture from the set-up of my room etc which has also made a great improvement to my viewing experience

So, to sum up - I would highly recommend the great service from the guys at electricinteriors.co.uk

Fire away with any Q's

Many thanks
Take it easy
Boom

Glad to hear you had a good experience; I've recently tuned-up my own projector. As you say, the basic front panel controls like Brightness and Contrast (which can be done without a meter) are worthwhile, but it's the colour temperature calibration that makes the biggest difference.
