IPod Shuffle Volume Boost

Does anybody know how to boost the volume of an ipod shuffle using Windows? I've tried using euPod but it doesn't recognize my player.
Help??

That doesn't work either! I do know of a Shuffle volume booster but its for Macs only, and there isn't a version for XP!

You are right - there are no Windows programs that will do it for the shuffle yet. The only one that will do is Mac only.

Perhaps you could ask for a nearby Mac user to help you out. In my experience, they're quite friendly.

I finally got eupod pro to recognise my ipod shuffle and I boosted it to +80. However I am not sure if it has actually done it. It doesn't really sound much louder than it did before (if at all!) than when I had the volume boosted on itunes to +100. Is there supposed to be a big difference??

EDIT: OK just read somewhere that eupod is just a volume increaser, whereas gopod and imod are firmware changers. So need a firmware change!!!!!
