ipod dock connected via cat 5 extenders

Just wondered if anyone had any thoughts on audio quality with devices like this?

Component Video plus Digital Audio Over CAT5 Extender Kit Only £34.99 at TVCables

I've just bought an i20 dock to connect my ipod to my denon avr1906 via coaxial dig and component video. I thought the menu of ipod and artwork would appear on the screen but alas it would seem not. My next move is to move the ipod dock next to me on the sofa (so I can see the screen) and then run cables round the room to the amp. I was going to get a 10m coaxial cable and 3 cables for the video (or maybe just a single composite video cable) but wondered whether it might be nice to have just one cable running round the room....hence the look for a cat 5 extender.

I'm really looking for something that doesn't degrade the audio - the video I can kinda live with that not being so good....

Any thoughts on the quality of these extenders?
