Virgin GPRS Iphone problem

Help!

Just got a JB and unlocked Iphone and its awesome however I can't seem to get Virgin GPRS to work, only wifi seems to make all my apps useful. Had a Sony Ericsson K800i before and GPRS was fine. If any Virgin iPhone users here can help, i'd be grateful! Put all the settings in goto.virginmobile.com then user and no Password, but still nothing!

Should all apps work with GPRS or are some only wifi?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Virgin GPRS Iphone problem

APN - goto.virginmobile.uk
Username - user
password - left blank

These seem to be the right settings, and the blue circle is there, but i'm not getting any joy with GPRS.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong!

Re: Virgin GPRS Iphone problem

ok

are you using a 2G or 3G iphone,
if your using a 3G then switch off 3G for a while and see if the gprs picks up...

Re: Virgin GPRS Iphone problem

No, I'm using a 2G, put sim back in my k800i and it works fine! What is the best app to test if GPRS is working? Over to you....
