New Iphone

Hi

I currently have the iphone 2g but am looking at upgrading to the 3g version.

BUT apparently there is a new iphone coming out, so a couple of questions:

What will the difference be between the current 3g model and the new model?

Will it look any different?

How much to buy on PAYG?

When is it going to be released, i have heard it is June, is it worth the wait?

Also if you have any good links or website, please post them so i can take a look

Thanks

1. Nobody knows what the specs are for the 3rd Gen iPhone as of yet. A lot of people and websites are speculating. For example better camera, better and higher res touchscreen, bigger memory, High Def TV out. ect.

2. I personally reckon that the iPhone will retain most of its look from the previous versions, maybe a few added buttons, different finish or colour - but thats about it IMHO.

3. I don't know who in the UK have got the rights to the 3rd Gen iPhone, but chances are whoever it is, they wont release it on PAYG straight away. Seems they try to grab customers by locking them into a long contract. eBay and the likes will have it though i'm sure. Probably around £350-£400 mark.

4. Nobody knows this either atm, Apples WWDC is in a months time on June 8th 2009. Hopefully around this date we will know alot more about it. Whens its released, functions, spec, ect.

If i were you though i probably would hold out for it. It seems very likely it'll be out this summer (June, July or August).

Re: New Iphone

It's probably also worth checking out other brands. I'm loving the new Palm Pre which will probably be out later this year, has similar features to the iPhone, but also has keypad. Only thing I didn't like about the iPhone was the touch keypad I need feedback from the keys.
