Jailbrak sync question

Jailbrak sync question

Hey foks just a quick question, after much hassle i have finally managed to jailbreak, is it safe to sync with I tunes now or would that erase the apps i have installed through cydia?

No it won't but ensure you disable auto update on itunes. Otherwise if itunes updates the phone version you will have to jailbreak again.

install 'aptbackup' from cydia. once installed, run aptbackup and it will backup your cydia apps.

you can then sync without any concerns...not that you should lose any of your apps.

however, if you do, you can just install aptbackup again and click on 'restore'.

thats cool cheers for that,i'm starting to get to grips with it, although do you know how to turn clicks off in cydia? i have turned them off from the phone but i cant find how to turn them off when i search for something through cydia. i hate that clciking sound
