Hired a film via apple but it keeps pausing

Hired a film via apple but it keeps pausing
I hired a film yesterday via apple and just sitting down to watch it but for some reason every few mins it pauses then get the 3 icons rewind play and pause. Is my phone faulty?

Turned it off then back on, seems ok now.
