Ok, so i thought i'd create a thread to see what people on the forum would like to see on the next revision of the iPhone. I searched but didn't find a previous topic.

So, we already know whats going to be included in 'Apples OS 3.0' but for those of you who don't here it is;

Push Notifications
Copy and Paste
Landscape Keyboard
MMS (Messages App)
CalDAV
Stocks
Extended Search
Spotlight
Bluetooth A2DP
Voice Memos
In-App Purchases
Peer to Peer Connectivity
Maps (Google)
Accessory Connectivity

EVEN MORE FEATURES
- Notes Sync
- Audio/Video tags
- Live Streaming (Updated media player adjusts streaming video quality according to current bandwidth)
- Shake to Shuffle
- Wi-Fi Auto Login
- LDAP
- iTunes Account Creation
- YouTube ratings, subscriptions, accounts and encrypted profiles.
- Anti-Philshing
- Call Log
- Parental Controls
- Media Scrubber
- OTA profiles
- VPN on demand
- Languages
- Auto-fills

Some good improvements and some not so good improvements.

Below is a list of what i would like to see in the iPhone:

Better Camera (atleast 3.2MP, Sony Ericsson are released a 12MP in Nov!)
Flash (Preferfably a Xenon Flash)
Background Apps (Ruled out for OS 3.0)
Geo tagging
Card Slot (Is it needed? Apple will never include it though - EVER!)
Secondary 3G calling Camera
Video Recording
Adobe Flash (Adobe are working on Flash i think)
Bluetooth (Able to send/recieve files)
More Customisation (Ringtones, Springboard ect)

A few of the features that you would like too see can already be done after jail breaking:

Background Apps (Ruled out for OS 3.0) - 99% sure i have seen a app what allows it

Video Recording - A few apps that can do it such as cyrecorder

Bluetooth (Able to send/recieve files) - iBluetooth

More Customisation (Ringtones, Springboard etc) - Winterboard

Ok ok you cannot put them officially but it is doable

Ok ok you cannot put them officially but it is doable

yep i know some of this can be done by 'Jailbreaking' it, but i mean these features should be included out of the box, the ones you mentioned are in almost every phone these days.

I mean no out of the box video recording or send/recieve Bluetooth? lol.
