Anyone use GOOSYNC?

Having to resign myself to not being able to sync calendar/tasks etc with Windows Mail I need to find a good workaround.

I have Outlook but do not wish to use it as its fugly and I don't want to have to use an online calendar but I think that is my only option.

I do have a google calendar account so I think that is my goal. :-(

Looking at Goosync, I see the premium version does sync to-do's.

Does anybody use this program? Is it reliable?

Ideally I really do want a standablone PC version of a calendar/task program that will sync with its iphone brother. Does one exist?

Re: Anyone use GOOSYNC?

You can sync with Google using iPhone's builtin Exchange.

Please follow instructions Google Mobile | Sync for your iPhone

This should have you sorted out

How do you manage to do that please?

I just installed Live Mail and itunes offers no sync option for it, only Outlook.

Hi WildgooseUK, thanks. I got that working and am just doing a couple of test appointments to see if it works both ways with reminders.
I didn't really want to use a web based service but with Apple's inability to allow sync with windows calendar it is my only option.
