Just updating now, dont think there are any major updates though by the sound of things.

I does seem like the latest iTunes could spell the end for Jailbreaking for a while though with it checking the validity of the firmware with Apple prior to updating/restoring the iPhone and you cant update to the new firmware with upgrading iTunes as well...

Sure it wont be long until someone releases an iTunes patch to get around it though.

Notes dont sync with OSX Mail, get the message in iTunes "Syncing notes requires Mac OS X 10.5.7 or later" which is great except we are only up to 10.5.6 at the moment

Beta 4 seems a lot snappier than Beta 3.

Yeah I got that message too, Im assuming that 10.5.7 will be out soonish then

Yeah it does seem a lot quicker. My iphone doesnt go all jumpy when I go to the search page anymore

so how much better is os 3.0? does it make you think twice about wanting to jailbreak?

the main reason i jailbroke my 3g is to gain features which, in my opinion, the iphone should have had in the first place!

I will still jailbreak when an official one appears. Not really for features, just because I want to put a fancy theme on it

I've Jailbroken my iPhone since the very early days but havent bothered since 3.0 came out, the only feature it would give me is themes which I can live without for the stability.
