Has anyone had this problem while using gps ?

Has anyone had this problem while using gps ?
was using maps and gps yesterday to travel In the car. And while the charger was plugged In I kept getting low battery warning and the battery icon was showing a fully charged plug on a White background.

The only thing I can think of was maybe the battery was getting to warm.

Any ideas ?
