Hey all.

If I get a new iPhone and give my wife my old 2G - what will happen to the apps on it?

It's jailbroken and unlocked - will she lose the apple apps but keep the cydia ones?

I take it once she syncs with her iTunes (on her pc) it will erase the phone?

Another issue - I'm on mac and she's on pc - what are the issues there? I'll obviously tell her iTunes not to auto update the phone etc.

when she connects the iphone to itunes tell her not to sync automatically. then she will be able to copy over the apps to itunes on her machine. itunes may even prompt her to do this.

the music, movies, photos, contacts etc will only get deleted when she syncs on her pc IF she doesn't have the same files on her pc.

other than that, it shouldn't matter that you have a mac and your wife has a pc.
