downloaded a few applications from the app store , the icons are on my screen but when i try to open them , they open up for one sec and then close, any idea why this is happening?

Delete them and reinstall

Also how do you actually delete them?

To delete, put your finger on the app until they 'wiggle' then press the X in the corner. There shouldn't be a problem reinstalling, once you have paid you can download and install them again.

odd but by deleting and reinstalling one app its sorted the rest out.
