Aaaaarghhh!!!!! iTunes

Started iTunes tonight as usual to sync my iPhone 3G and iTunes came up with some error message about the itunes.xml file. Once it started up I noticed that all the Applications I've bought as well as the ringtones I got from the US store have vanished from iTunes. Still got the apps on my iPhone but have now lost all the ringtones - I removed them from the iPhone as it's going to the Apple store to get repaired/replaced and I couldn't be bothered with any hassle.

I am completely off about this and very, very far from happy with Apple/iTunes right now.

Re: Aaaaarghhh!!!!! iTunes

Don't you just sync with whichever store you are browsing?

Re: Aaaaarghhh!!!!! iTunes

Nothing is showing under Apps or Ringtones in iTunes.
I go to the store and then Store > Check for Available downloads and get a "All purchases have been downloaded for this account" message.
That's because I have downloaded it already, but iTunes has decided it's no longer on my PC.

If there's a way to force iTunes to get all my stuff from the store then I don't know what it is, and can't see any option to Sync with the store. Have you got any more info on how to do this ?

Re: Aaaaarghhh!!!!! iTunes

Fixed it.
Had to go to File and Add folder to library to point iTunes at the Mobile Applications and Ringtones folders.
How it managed to add my music that's in the same folder yet omit these is beyond me.

I'm now able to add/remove them to/from my iPhone.

Stupid problems happening at night when I'm going to my bed. Little wonder I can't think straight.
