A couple of O2 iPhone questions?

There was some talk a while back that O2 will reduce the speed of the internet connection if it was not a business account.

Is this still true and how has anyone got around it?

My upgrade is due in Feb and the lady said that I will get a new phone number as my current contract is through Carphone and the iPhone contract will be directly with O2.

Re: A couple of O2 iPhone questions?

That doesn't make any sense my friend, you bought your iPhone through carphone warehouse, therefore, your contract is with carphone warehouse, not with O2 directly. You shouldbn't really be forced to renew your number at the end of your contract, that'd be silly. Speak to carphone warehouse and tell them O2's story.

Re: A couple of O2 iPhone questions?

I requested that I would like to get my number changed and that was the reply I got.

Also I can confirm that my contact will be directly with O2 if I go for an iPhone. it was what she told me but I guess that are only customer services and don't know much.
