Iphone with '3' network Sim card

Firstly apologies if this is somewhere else on this forum but I have trawlled through many of the pages already without luck!

I have a pay monthly '3' network sim card and wondered whether or not an unlocked Iphone will work with it? Do I need to get a specific model and would I lose any functions such as apps store etc?

Cheers

Re: Iphone with '3' network Sim card

After looking here, it seems to be working for almost everyone using the yellowsn0w unlock, possibly with a few bugs...
But there should be a completely stable unlock very soon.

I'm waiting for my 3G iPhone to arrive then I'm gonna attempt to use my 3 SIM in there, so I'll let you know how it goes.

Does anyone know the right internet settings for 3 though?!
