mms now available under free apps

it was going so well until I saw the price. I'll stick to email me thinks.

I'd rather pay for the app outright and send them free than the other way around. The iPhone tarriff is expensive enough without additional charges

Re: MMS on your iPhone

Excellent I'll download this as I do occasionally receive MMS so this will be handy. Unfortunately I do not have or want a PayPal account (I got robbed there in the past) so I'll be unable to send any MMS.

Re: MMS on your iPhone

I downloaded this this morning after being notified of it whilst using the web app. Only send now & again, but recieve quite alot ... so this is perfect for me!!

Only issue I've had with it is that the native app won't download my previous recieved messages, so I'm having to keep the web app too !!

Overall, very happy with it ..... well done guys, and thank you!!

Re: MMS on your iPhone

Doesn't put your mobile and pin number into this give your details away? Using that you can log in and se more that just your pics on the o2 website, you can change your bill etc?

Re: MMS on your iPhone

It's only the pin number to view mms pictures - they send it to you in a text message every time you get one so it's hardly a state secret!

Re: mms now available under free apps

This was already mentioned a few days back, it's free to receive (like it always has been) but costs 35p to send one, I'll stick to free email.

Stick with it I think the app is fine but the o2 server is somewhat flakey. Mine was failing at the same time as my mates yesterday, then came back at the same time.

Re: MMS on your iPhone

I've got this app and it's all set up and working, does any one actually have new messages show up as you recieve them as they would a text message? (that little red circle with a number in it) or do you still just get a text saying you have a new mms and view it here then open the mms app to retrieve it?

Re: MMS on your iPhone

You have to retrive the pic message with the app everytime you recieve a text from o2. You won't get no red symbol in your mms logo.

Re: MMS on your iPhone

Not a bad effort really and less hassle that logging in via o2's website. Good proof of concept as well. Would be great if o2 would offer this officially but I won't hold my breath as I'm sure Apple's lawyers would crack down on it for some spurious reason.

My only minor criticism (and this really is just picking) is that it would be nice to have the logo identical in size and shape to the SMS icon, just a different colour like you're already doing. I like things to match
