Cydia wanted to update itself today and after that my fonts have all changed to a basic typface. Any idea how I can get back the normal typface?

Do you mean the font across the entire iPhone OS or just in Cydia?

Do you have Winterboard installed by any chance?

Yes the fonts across the whole range have changed and yes I do havw winterboard installed although there is no mention of fonts on it.
I have just noticed that if I turn off Saurik in Winterboard the fonts revert back to there old self, this has only just happened after a Winterboard update, is there a way of changing this?

The Font change is part of the "Saurik" theme you get with Winterboard. If you are determined to keep the theme but revert the font, delete the info.plist file within the Saurik Theme folder (Located in /Var/Stash/Themes/Saurik.theme/)
