Re: voicenotes sync'ing

Aha! Figured it out. By default, voicenotes names the files with "Untitled ..." and then a timestamp, which has colons in it, which windows doesn't like as a fiiename. Rename the note from the default, and you should have no problem syncing.

Definitely check the FAQ page:

Re: voicenotes sync'ing

Yeah, you have to enter the IP address as yoru server name but for me, I can't synch a large file, over 2-3 hours in length. Any ideas?

Thumbs up Solution!

After trying everything in the book, I finally decided to use my IP address as the Server Name. And ta-da, it worked.

What's weird is that the application *gives* you a name to use for the server name, but that just sets you up to fail. Try using your IP address instead.

(Didn't have to turn off my firewall, btw.)

Uh oh, I'm going to be in trouble for bumping the thread b/c Newb888 already said the same thing. Just noticed that.

However, I think my thumbs up + my "Solution!" title really grabs attention.
