Question UK 2 or 3G iphone on ATT when visiting the US???

I have both a 2G and a 3G iphone. I would love to be able to use at least one of these using an ATT sim when I visit the US.
Any ideas on how to do this?
I jailbraked my 2G but couldnt quite understand how to unlock it... which is what I assume I need to do???

Rant: I hate that Apple wont unlock my old 2G iphone even though it is totally paid for and out of contract at this point. Rant over

Thanks

It will have to be the 2G one as thats the only one which can be unlocked.

Read the forum sticky for unlocking.
