No service!!!!!

My phone at work today is coming up no service all the time, cant send a txt receive a call nothing, i normally have no problem at all at my desk actually i can get 3G Signal,

thought it may have been an o2 problem but my friend 3 desks aways has and iphone 3G also and his is fine, ive tried moving round the office too, but no change,

have you tried toggling it on and off airplane mode??

tried that, it found a full o2 signal, then tried to send a txt, got near to the end then went back to no service then it came up error sending message!!!

I had the very same problem, very strange indeed, however the next day it was all working fine.

Have also had this problem, was 5bars then went right off to 'no service; only to come back on to 5bars several minutes later.

Mine is still doing this, im at work now and got No service yet i can go home at lunchtime, less that quarter of a mile away it will be bull signal bars,

Yet now and again it will work and when it does again full signal,

Although i had though it to be a problem with 02 i now think it could be the phone, as someone i know in the same area as me keeps having the same trouble on iphone howver other 02 customers arent!!

I bought another sim adaptor (v. cheap at £6.50) off of ebay just to try and have not experienced the above problem anywhere near as often as before although it does still happen. Tried it with the O2 sim that I got with the phone and it does do it just coming back to full bars a bit quicker, problem with the handset?.
