customize and winterboard guides

hi all,

i've got a 2.1 2G iphone unlocked and jailbroken.

i'm just trying to work out how to customize my screen.

from searching around i've found and downloaded winterboard and customize but i'm not really sure how to use them.

customize 2.1 just crashes back to home every time i launch it. isn't that the app that can changem, say, the dock and not the wallpaper and stuff like that?
is there a real newb guide anyone knows about?

cheers

Re: customize and winterboard guides

You dont really need Customize. I dont have it anyway..

Winterboard will give you a few options as to what you can change etc.

If you go into Cydia (Im presuming you have this) then search for themes, there will be several options. Themes/Icons/Battery etc.

Just select the ones you like and install them. Then go back to Winterboard and you can select them from there. Press next to it, it will add a little tick and then exit Winterboard. The screen will refresh and thats you done.

If you want to create your own or add ones youve found online, then you need to SSH into your iPhone or download iPhoneBrowser from Google and I'll dig out the file path so you can add themes that way.

Its simple really
