Ringtones problem

Ive created a ringtone, it shows in my ringtones library in itunes, it has synced to my iphone so it shows under my iphone and in the ringtones section in itunes however i cant find it at all on my iphone?? It looks as though its a bit greyed out in itunes -> my iPhone -> ringtones so could this be why?

If so , any idea why it is greyed out?

Thanks

most iPhones won't play any Cheeky Girls ringtones on principle

Which software did you use to create?

Re: Ringtones problem

Haha! I done it manually using iTunes. Created an AAC file, renamed it from m4a to m4r, synced it to my iPhone? Ill try and find the exact steps I followed to do it.

I done it similarly to this:

What do you think is the best way to create them?

Re: Ringtones problem

I couldnt work out the problems when doing it manually.
This is how i now do it
Did you set the length to 29seconds, THEN convert it to AAC. Once that is done then put the original back to original length and change the newly created filetype to M4r ... works every time.
