mine did. when i went to check it had gone off. back to o i think. iam giveing up with the iphone now i think to many problems with them.

Is this a forum to discuss i phone good or bad or do you have to love the iphone? Seems that when someone says something bad about it you get lynched. Ill stick to google for answers from now on.

To answer your question no mine has never switched itself off although every now and again I get an unresponsive black screen which takes a few presses of the home and power buttons to get it turned back on.

And as for your last post everyone is entitled to their opinions thats what the forum is for

My comment was flippant based on the fact you had a lot of problems last time you had an iPhone and have continued to comment on its problems since you got rid of it, just seems strange to me that you have ended up with another one despite all that and have once again started with the "im giving up on the iPhone" comments. Maybe the iPhone just isnt for you

Well people told me it was probly a dodgy phone so decided to try another as its a very nice phone and i really want one.

Mine does the same clicking the home button doesnt always bring it back to life, but a few presses and its back, never had it just turn off on me.
Ohh and I love the iPhone!

Mine occasionally reboots itself but it doesn't both me.
I couldn't be without my iphone, I love it.

i agree with robinson about geting lynched if you say anything bad about the i phone 1 know i have been insulted for saying bad things about this phone

Mine has turned itself back on....

Turn it off at night to go to bed, make sure it is off, then it will come back on

Hey I've had that too lol
Mine you ,I turned it off then plugged the charger in, so I think that made it turn back on.
