Hi, i bought an iphone on PAYG yesterday and when i was setting it up on itunes it asked me for the phone's number, so i typed in the new number which came with the phone and everything was ok.

Since then i have changed my number back to the one i had before the iphone, but in itunes where it says:

Name:
Capacity:
Software Verison:
Serial Number:
Phone Number:

It still has the number which came with the iphone and that im not using anymore.

It also has that number on the iphone itself (at the top of the contacts list)

So is there a way i can edit that number to my correct number?

I tried searching on google and someone said he had the same problem and that he even tried a system restore and still couldn't do it.

Any ideas?

Not sure if your the same chap asking on the O2 forums, but I read that you need to put the sim in to a non-iphone phone to do it. But at the end of the day.....what does it matter?
