I came across this website through another recent thread. I thought it might be useful for other users to post their results.

Here are my results which are surprising to say the least.

Well your download speed on 3G is far faster then mine, mine came back as 0.95mbs transferred 3072kb in 26.5 seconds.

What I want to know is why is it so slow on Wi-Fi, I would have expected to to be as fast as my 3G connection at the very least.

I've usually found these tests to be a waste of time and hugely inconsistent. I don't think they accurately reflect anything. I'd not read much into the results.

6.18Mbps Wi-Fi download, I assume you have to disable the ones you don't want to test with to be sure it's using the one you do want to test?

I have found wifi to be slow too I think there issues with wifi and iPhone. If you google "iPhone slow wifi" you will see lots of people with issues.

The speedtest.net free app is pretty good and very accurate (I have tested it a lot on wifi with a laptop and my phone in different areas of a couple of offices at work).
