poor i phone

can somone help me please my i3g phone all of a sudden has crashed all i get now is a black screen with the apple logo on it nothing else i have all ready tried holding the on off button and the home button at the same nothing still the same help

Im starting to think you are the unluckiest iPhone user on the planet....

After doing a hard reset (hold the power and home buttons down until the screen goes black) turn it back on and leave it. If it doesnt come back within 10 minutes then sounds like a restore is in order.

how do i do a restore on this phone. you must be about right about me being that unlucky but i have never had this trouble with mobiles before.Went CPW they said it could take up to28 DAYS !!! JEEESUS here is hoping you can help on this as i would like to download the new software rather than the phone being with CPW fo over 4 weeks

i see the restore is on i tunes the prob is that i cant get the that page even with my i phone is conected so how do i go about it as i tunes does not seem notice my phone

oh dear its me again sorry up on my screen i am now geting a message saying i tunes could not connect to i phone because unknown error occurred ox000001 does anybody know what it all means also somtimes when i go to i tunes it frezzes with a mesage saying windows does not regonise this programe iam NOW GOING MAD

Google iPhone restore mode, put your phone in restore mode and connect to itunes.

nothing happing just geting the apple logo up on the i phone thats it hutch looked on google site it shows loads of restores which one ? it they all seem to say put your phone into restore mode which i cant do

I think you and your iPhone must be jinxed. Best take it back and get something different. I guess some people aren't meant to own an iPhone.

have taken it back to CPW the guy there bent over backwards to help its now being picked up from my home next week by Apple will have it back with in 6 days which ant to bad there was a other guy with his 16g i phone as well his problem was he tried to down load the latest software and his phone would not let him do it so his was was going back as well like to thank you guys for the help you tried to give my quite ill phone

ps the staff at CPW at Crawley where very helpfull the guy who was serving me did say why in hell did o2 get the i phone contaract who phone recipton is not all that good i said Vodofone should of had it his reply was but vodophone would have wanted there name plasterd over the phone

If anyone of the companies involved is useless its been CPW in my experience, O2 have been alright but I think if I had any serious problems with it I'd go to Apple.

i have no problem with o2 at all i was just repeating what the guy was saying the shop SO GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT! i m quite happy with o2 i am also happy with vodfone and also happy with B T Mobile as well.So dont put words into my mouth which did not say the phone is going stright back to Apple like said in my reply. ps my wife works for o2 so if i did not like o2 my life would be hell

Please forgive coming on here again it seems some people on this forum to make point of pulling me apart either when i am agreeing with somebody about 3g reciption or passing a coment about what somone has said to me in a phone shop or about my spelling.now i have been on this A.V. Forum since 2003 and in the past not only this froum but others i have had nothing but great help. I know i have got angry wih the i phone in the past on this forum but so have many others i dont see them people geting the crap like i am seen to be geting. I will like to say a big thank you to hutch and all you other guys have done to help me to sort out my i phone and undestand my mi spelled words and gramer i know its like being a code breaker for M.I.5 but to the other rude & insullting idiots & dont get there facts right please dont bother to reply. just one more thing to say i am in my 50s i am not a wiz kid & can pick things with in a couple seconds it just takes a bit longer for us old farts i am now glad i have got out in the open sorry about the rant .
