Before I upgraded to firmware 2 I was able to edit the carrier.plist to set the call forwarding options to false. But now on 2.0 firmware tmobile uk does not have a carrier bundle!

Does anyone know how I can disable this annoying popup message on tmobile uk using 2.0 firmware?

well, normally it is auto-disabled on 2.0, but here you go:

SSH into your iphone and go to /System/Library/Carrier Bundles/ and then the Carrier Bundle of the carrier you use (so if you use an AT&T simcard go into ATT_US.bundle).
in there, download the carrier.plist and after that, search for
<key>ShowCallForwarded</key> and make sure the line below it says <false/> then look for <key>ShowCallForwarding</key> and, again, make sure the line below it says <false/> if one or both of those say <true/> change it to <false/> and re-upload the file to your iphone and there you go ;-)

edit: if you don't know your carrier bundle just go to /private/var/mobile/Library/Carrier Bundle.bundle/ which takes you right to your carrier

Surprisingly, both those are already set to false.

Why aren't others reporting this irritating aspect?..........

you can download an app on cydia which does the job for you, worked a treat on my 2G tmobile phone. can't remember the exact name of it now but can find out if you can't find what you need

which one was it. Can't find anything on cydia

you need to install the source ifon1.no. once you've done this the package is called Callforwarding (all one word). worked fine for me, just do a manual power off after installing.

I have the same annoying problem. Is there a non-JB solution for this? (I am on Voda, factory unlocked iphone from Play)

How would I SSH into my iPhone? What software would I need for this?

Thats weird. That software from Cydia worked until this morning and now the message has started to pop up again.

It doesn't. I installed it last night and it still shows the ever-annoying pop up bubble whenever you make a call!

Update - it wasn't working yesterday after installing, but after a reboot today, it's been working. I've not seen the pop up bubble all day!

As a newbie to cydia please can somebody provide me with a dummies guide to removing the call forwarding message

and I mean step by step...

I am on t-mobile, software version 3.0

Open CYDIA

Tap MANAGE > SOURCES

Tap EDIT > ADD

In the pop up box, enter c.ifon1.no (after the http:// )

Let it add and refresh

Then just search for callforwarding and you should find it.

Install it, then after it's all done, close Cydia and reboot the phone!

Yes it does, just remember to restart your iPhone after installing.
