Can you still buy new iPhone 2G's anywhere?

Hi Everyone,

A friend of mine would like to buy her boyfriend an iPhone for his birthday (For me to unlock)

Does anyone know if the 2G are available new anywhere with excess stock fro the 3G launch?

Refurb probably would be ok but I just don't want to buy a second hand one off eBay unless there aren't any other options- typical I only sold mine a few weeks ago and it was immaculate!

all sorted.... scarily enough a friend of mine just called me out of the blue to say he'd just received a warranty replacement original iPhone and now has a 3G. Scarily perfect timing......
